Amber has been loving life as a travel director for nearly 30 years. She thrives on uncovering the more remote destinations fewer travelers have seen. Having begun her career as a young intern with Travcoa, she’s since visited nearly every continent and countless countries. She says no matter how many times she’s been to a particular destination, it still feels like the first time every time.

Amber still loves the excitement over sharing in-depth knowledge with her travelers. She works hard to design trips where she can work on a special experience for her guests, such as visiting a winery of old friend in Italy, experiencing a blessing in an Indian Ashram, or visiting an exceptional private art collection in Japan.

When she’s not traveling, you’ll find Amber in a yoga studio, or hiking one of the nearby mountaintops around her home just north of San Francisco. She has been known to teach yoga classes on the road and take interested clients on invigorating hikes.
