DAY 1
ISLAMABAD, PAKISTAN

Explore the city’s blend of modernity and cultural heritage. This afternoon, visit the Lok Virsa Ethnographic Museum to gain insights into Pakistan’s diverse cultures and traditions.


DAY 2
ISLAMABAD / SKARDU / SHIGAR

Fly to Skardu and enjoy stunning views of the Himalayas, then visit the K2 Museum and Skardu Bazaar before heading to Shigar. In the evening, enjoy a guided tour of Shigar Fort and learn about the region’s history.


DAY 3
SHIGAR

Drive along the Baraldo River through a picturesque valley, stopping at a fruit orchard along the way. Visit UNESCO-recognized cultural sites in Shigar and engage in a discussion on the evolution of Islam in the region.


DAY 4
SHIGAR / GILGIT

Travel to Gilgit via the Indus Gorge, stopping at the ancient Manthal Buddha. Take a break at Kachura Lake before exploring Gilgit and its surroundings.


DAY 5
GILGIT

Explore Kargah Valley, home to ruins of a Buddhist stupa and the Taj Mughal Monument. Visit the famous Kargah Buddha before enjoying a barbecue dinner in Gilgit.


DAY 6
GILGIT / HUNZA

Journey to Naltar Valley, and meet Loly a snow leopard that was rescued by a local shepherd. Stop at the Indian and Eurasian tectonic plate collision point and catch your first glimpses of the Silk Road before heading to Hunza.


DAY 7
HUNZA / HYDERABAD

Visit the Baltit Fort and Karimabad Bazaar in Hunza, then experience a traditional carpet weaving workshop in Hyderabad.


DAY 8
HUNZA / HOPPER VALLEY

Embark on an excursion to Hopper Valley, enjoying panoramic views of glaciers and peaks. Take a short walk through the village and meet the locals.


DAY 9
HUNZA / DUIKER VILLAGE

Explore Altit Fort in Hunza and wander through a traditional village. Drive to Duiker Village, also known as Eagle’s Nest, for stunning views of peaks like Rakaposhi and Ladyfinger Peak.


DAY 10
HUNZA / KHUNJERAB NATIONAL PARK

Discover Khunjerab National Park, to for a hike through the stunning landscapes while searching for wildlife such as yaks, ibex and the elusive snow leopard.


DAY 11
HUNZA / GULMIT

Cross the thrilling Hussaini Suspension Bridge for dramatic views of the Hunza Valley, then take a relaxing cruise on Attabad Lake.


DAY 12
HUNZA / SKARDU

Travel to Skardu and check in to the Shangri-La Hotel, set on the banks of Lower Kachura Lake, then visit serene Upper Kachura Lake for hiking and a relaxing boat ride in stunning surroundings.


DAY 13
SKARDU / ISLAMABAD

Fly back to Islamabad and enjoy a leisure day at the hotel, relaxing or shopping in the city.


DAY 14
ISLAMABAD

Learn about Gandhara art at the Taxila Museum, and explore ancient sites like the Dharmarajika Stupa. Visit a truck decorating workshop and the Faisal Mosque.
