ARRIVE IN USHUAIA, ARGENTINA
Begin your journey in Ushuaia, a bustling port town at the southern tip of South America. Enjoy the mountains or sample handcrafted chocolate at a local café while preparing for your adventure ahead.
DAY 2
EMBARK
In the late afternoon, embark on your vessel and sail down the historic Beagle Channel. Feel the anticipation as you depart—next stop, the world’s southernmost continent!
DAYS 3 – 4
CROSSING THE DRAKE PASSAGE
Attend presentations on photography, wildlife, glaciology, and history. Enjoy wildlife spotting on deck or relax with your shipmates over a drink at the bar.
DAYS 5 – 8
SOUTH SHETLAND ISLANDS AND ANTARCTIC PENINSULA
Experience awe at Antarctica’s untouched landscapes with daily Zodiac excursions exploring glaciated bays and landing sites. Interact with penguins, seals, and whales, guided by your Expedition Team.
DAYS 9 – 10
CROSSING THE DRAKE PASSAGE
As you return, watch for seabirds and whales from the deck. Attend final presentations and reflect on your Antarctic experiences.
DAY 11
DISEMBARK IN USHUAIA
Arrive in Ushuaia in the morning and transfer to the airport. Explore the Antarctic Peninsula’s waters in the spirit of adventure.

ELEPHANT ISLAND
Set course for this ice-covered mountain at the edge of the South Shetland Islands. Sail past Cape Valentine, where Shackleton and his men landed. If conditions allow, enjoy a Zodiac cruise or land on historic Point Wild.
NEKO HARBOR
Home to breeding gentoo penguins, Weddell seals, and feeding whales. The nearby glacier frequently calves into the bay. Neko Harbor is a potential landing site.
PARADISE BAY
One of the most picturesque spots, hosting Argentina’s Almirante Brown and Chile’s Gonzales Videla research stations. Depending on conditions, enjoy a Zodiac cruise or make a landing.
LEMAIRE CHANNEL
Cruise through this narrow, visually impressive channel, watching for humpback and minke whales. Experience a thrilling Zodiac cruise among grounded icebergs near Pleneau Island.
PATAGONIA’S WILD TERRAIN: A JOURNEY ON FOOT
DAY 1
ARRIVE / PUERTO NATALES, CHILE
Arrive in Puerto Natales and check in to the Pristine Patagonia Hotel. This evening, meet your fellow travelers for a welcome dinner and trip briefing.
DAY 2
PUERTO NATALES / TORRES DEL PAINE
Travel overland to Torres del Paine National Park, stopping for views of wildlife and dramatic peaks. Hike to the iconic Mirador Base Torres for spectacular views, then overnight at Refugio Torre Central.

DAY 3
TORRES DEL PAINE NATIONAL PARK
Hike along Almirante Nieto and Lake Nordenskjold, with views of glaciers and grazing guanacos. End the day beneath the towering Cuernos Mountains at Refugio Paine Cuernos.
Distance: 6.8 Miles | 4hrs
DAY 4
TORRES DEL PAINE NATIONAL PARK
Trek to the stunning French Valley for panoramic views of lakes and hanging glaciers. Continue on to Refugio Paine Grande, nestled on Lake Pehoe.
Distance: 10.7 Miles | 7hrs
DAY 5
TORRES DEL PAINE NATIONAL PARK
Hike to Lake Grey and Glacier Grey, with views of the Southern Ice Field. Later, kayak among icebergs and spot local birdlife before overnighting at Refugio Grey.
Distance: 6.8 Miles | 4hrs
DAY 6
TORRES DEL PAINE / PUERTO NATALES
Hike to scenic suspension bridges, then cruise Lake Grey for close-up views of the glacier. After a final short hike, return to Puerto Natales and check in at the hotel.
DAY 7
PUERTO NATALES / EL CALAFATE, ARG. / USHUAIA
Travel overland to El Calafate and fly to Ushuaia, the world’s southernmost city. Spend the afternoon exploring town at your leisure; dinner is on your own.
DAY 8
USHUAIA
Enjoy a full day of independent exploration—options include hiking, cruising, or visiting museums. In the evening, check in to the group hotel and gather for a Miru Welcome Dinner to kick off the Antarctic program.
