Travel with Jon Hall and Regina Ribeiro
Embark on an extraordinary expedition through some of Brazil’s most fragmented and threatened ecosystems in search of some of the country’s most critically endangered, rare, and elusive primates and porcupines. Led by Jon Hall, founder of Mammalwatching.com, and Regina Ribeiro, one of South America’s most renowned primatologists, this journey spans over 2,000 kilometers across the highly biodiverse landscapes of Northeastern Brazil. From the lush Atlantic Rainforest to the arid Caatinga and the unique Baturite hills, this tour delves into isolated micro-regions that harbor species teetering on the brink of extinction. With limited human presence and expert guidance, each wildlife encounter promises to be intimate and profound. This is an unparalleled opportunity to witness some of South Americas rarest mammals in their natural habitats while gaining insights into the critical conservation efforts dedicated to their survival.
