Travel with Stanford Travel/Study
In partnership with Stanford Alumni Travel/Study, embark on an expedition to some of the most remote tropical islands on Earth. The Seychelles offer unmatched beauty—quiet sophistication, enchanting scenery, and pristine nature reserves scattered across the Indian Ocean. Setting sail from Tanzania, explore Zanzibar’s historic atmosphere before visiting Latham Island, a vital seabird breeding site, and the ruins of Kilwa Kisiwani. Continue on to the Outer Seychelles, including the Aldabra Islands—the world’s largest coral atoll and a UNESCO World Heritage Site—before reaching the lush Inner Seychelles with their iconic islands of Aride and Praslin. Highlights include encounters with giant tortoises, dolphins, turtles, and countless bird species, as well as Zodiac landings on untouched beaches, rainforest walks, and opportunities to explore crystal-clear lagoons and reefs.
Three moments you’ll never forget

Step into a living tapestry of history and culture in Stone Town, Zanzibar, where narrow alleys lead past ornate carved doors, bustling spice markets, and centuries-old landmarks that reveal the island’s rich blend of African, Arab, and European influences.

Journey to the remote Aldabra Atoll in the Seychelles, one of the planet’s last great wild sanctuaries. Here, giant land tortoises roam freely, coconut crabs scuttle across the sands, and vast seabird colonies thrive. Guided walks, Zodiac cruises, and snorkeling in crystal-clear lagoons bring you face-to-face with this UNESCO World Heritage treasure.

On La Digue, Seychelles, stroll dazzling white beaches where towering granite boulders rise like sculptures from the turquoise sea. This postcard-perfect island embodies the natural beauty and timeless charm that make the Seychelles unforgettable.
