Three moments you’ll never forget
Day 1
Bangkok, Thailand
Arrive in Bangkok and transfer to the Novotel Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel. This evening, join fellow travelers and your leader, Amber Medkiff for a welcome dinner and briefing.
Day 2
Phuket / Koh Yao Noi
After breakfast, board our flight to Phuket. Upon arrival, board an iconic long-tail boat for the scenic journey to the island of Koh Yao Noi. Check in to the exclusive 9 Hornbills Camp, your home for three nights, set in beautiful, lush surroundings.
Day 3 & 4
Koh Yao Noi
During two full days, choose from a wide array of included activities including kayaking, a yoga class, a Thai cooking class, meeting with locals, mountain biking, snorkeling over dazzling coral reefs, visiting a hilltop temple, exploring nearby cliffs by boat, or simply lounging by your private pool.
Day 5
Luang Prabang, Laos
Return to Phuket by longboat this morning for our flight to Bangkok, then connect with our flight to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival, check into the Rosewood Hill Tents. Its stunning interiors reflect the unique heritage of Luang Prabang, a melting pot of royal and historic influences.
Day 6 & 7
Luang Prabang
With two full days to explore this fascinating area, start with a cycling tour along the Mekong. Visit the home of a local family for lunch before visiting the temple at Wat Mai. The next day, explore limestone cliffs by local boat and drop by Smile Elephant Camp to meet the elephants and their mahouts.
Day 8
Siem Reap, Cambodia
After a visit to the National Museum, formerly the Royal Palace, board our flight to Siem Reap, our first stop in the Kingdom of Cambodia. Check in to Shinta Mani Angkor, your home for the next three nights. Designed by acclaimed architect Bill Bensley, this exceptional hotel offers a tranquil and lush setting within the French Quarter of Siem Reap.
Day 9 & 10
Siem Reap
Begin your time here by exploring the grand Hindu temple complex of Angkor Wat and the 12th-century Angkor Thom. Ride a bike through a local Khmer stopping for local snacks and exploring beautifully decorated temples. Enjoy an optional cooking class or visit the tantalizing local street market.
Day 11
Sihanoukville / Shinta Mani Wild
Today, board our short flight to Sihanoukville, then depart overland for the scenic drive to Shinta Mani Wild. There along a rushing river, fifteen unique tents are perched, all designed to take advantage of the views. Spend the rest of the day strolling the forest trails or lounging by the pool.
Day 12 & 13
Shinta Mani Wild
Over two days, choose from a variety of activities including: Japanese fly-fishing; a motorcycle ride; mountain biking; ziplining; joining an anti-poaching patrol; a spa treatment; and searching for wild elephants, leopard cats, porcupines, and a bevy of beautiful bird species in the national park.
Day 14
Phnom Penh
After one last sumptuous breakfast, depart overland for Cambodia’s vibrant capital, Phnom Penh. Check in to the Rosewood Phnom Penhn with the rest of the afternoon at leisure. Gather with Amber and your fellow travelers this evening for a festive farewell dinner at the hotel.
Day 15
Depart from Phnom Penh
Board your independent homeward flight.
