Three moments you’ll never forget

Feel the thrill of setting sail down the historic Beagle Channel, leaving civilization behind as you depart for the Antarctic!

DAY 1

Arrive in Ushuaia, Argentina

Begin your journey in Ushuaia, a bustling port town at the southern tip of South America. Enjoy the mountains or sample handcrafted chocolate at a local café while preparing for your adventure ahead.

DAY 2

Embark

In the late afternoon, embark on your vessel and sail down the historic Beagle Channel. Feel the anticipation as you depart—next stop, the world's southernmost continent!

DAYS 3 – 4

Crossing the Drake Passage

Attend presentations on photography, wildlife, glaciology, and history. Enjoy wildlife spotting on deck or relax with your shipmates over a drink at the bar.

DAYS 5 – 8

South Shetland Islands and Antarctic Peninsula

Experience awe at Antarctica's untouched landscapes with daily Zodiac excursions exploring glaciated bays and landing sites. Interact with penguins, seals, and whales, guided by your Expedition Team.

DAYS 9 – 10

Crossing the Drake Passage

As you return, watch for seabirds and whales from the deck. Attend final presentations and reflect on your Antarctic experiences.

DAY 11

Disembark in Ushuaia

Arrive in Ushuaia in the morning and transfer to the airport. Explore the Antarctic Peninsula's waters in the spirit of adventure.


Explore the waters of the Antarctic Peninsula in the true spirit of adventure! The list below provides a glimpse of the places we may experience (subject to change pending local weather, sea conditions, ice charts, and permitting).

ELEPHANT ISLAND

Set course for this ice-covered mountain at the edge of the South Shetland Islands. Sail past Cape Valentine, where Shackleton and his men landed. If conditions allow, enjoy a Zodiac cruise or land on historic Point Wild.

NEKO HARBOR

Home to breeding gentoo penguins, Weddell seals, and feeding whales. The nearby glacier frequently calves into the bay. Neko Harbor is a potential landing site.

PARADISE BAY

One of the most picturesque spots, hosting Argentina’s Almirante Brown and Chile’s Gonzales Videla research stations. Depending on conditions, enjoy a Zodiac cruise or make a landing.

LEMAIRE CHANNEL

Cruise through this narrow, visually impressive channel, watching for humpback and minke whales. Experience a thrilling Zodiac cruise among grounded icebergs near Pleneau Island.

Patagonia’s Wild Terrain: A Journey on Foot

7 Nights | NOVEMBER 24 – DECEMBER 1, 2025

Enjoy five full days of trekking through the magnificent landscapes of Torres del Paine National Park. We’ll spend our days surrounded by some of the world’s most breathtaking mountain peaks as we pass pristine lakes, rushing rivers, and glittering glaciers. Our nights will be spent in cozy lodges with dorm-style accommodations and shared facilities, that are set in locations that take full advantage of the beautiful surroundings. The grand finale of this journey is a catamaran cruise along Lake Grey for up-close views of the sheer ice walls of Glacier Grey.  

DAY 1

Arrive / Puerto Natales, Chile

Arrive in Puerto Natales and check in to our group hotel. This evening, gather with your fellow travelers for dinner and a briefing on the upcoming adventure from your expedition leader. 

DAY 2

Puerto Natales / Torres del Paine National Park

Travel to Torres del Paine National Park with stunning views and local wildlife along the way. Hike to Mirador Base Torres, one of the best viewpoints in the park, before continuing to Refugio Torre Central for the night.

DAY 3

Torres del Paine National Park

Hike past turquoise Lake Nordenskjold and towering peaks to reach the base of the Cuernos Mountains. Stay overnight at Refugio Paine Cuernos.

DAY 4

Torres del Paine National Park

Hike to the French Valley with spectacular views of glaciers and lakes, then continue to Refugio Paine Grande on Lake Pehoe's shore.

DAY 5

Torres del Paine National Park

Hike to view Lake Grey, Glacier Grey, and the Southern Ice Field, then kayak on the lake to get up close to icebergs. Stay overnight at Refugio Grey.

DAY 6

Torres del Paine National Park / Puerto Natales

Visit the park’s suspension bridges, cruise Lake Grey, and hike to Pingo Café before returning to Puerto Natales. Check in to our group hotel for the night.

DAY 7

Puerto Natales / El Calafate, Argentina / Ushuaia

Depart for El Calafate, then fly to Ushuaia, Argentina. Check in to Albatross Hotel and enjoy a free afternoon. Dinner is on your own.

DAY 8

Ushuaia

Explore Ushuaia independently, with options like hiking Tierra del Fuego or cruising the Beagle Channel. Join the group for a Miru Welcome dinner in the evening.
