DAY 1

Abu Dhabi, UAE

Arrive in Abu Dhabi and transfer to our group hotel. Meet your tour leaders and fellow travelers at a Welcome Dinner this evening.

DAY 2

Abu Dhabi / Salalah, Oman

Fly to Salalah, Oman, and check in to Al Baleed Salalah by Anantara. Time permitting, enjoy a brief tour of this beautiful coastal city.

DAY 3

Salalah

Explore Salalah with visits to the Grand Mosque, Al Baleed Archaeological Site, and the Land of Frankincense Museum. Continue to Mughsail Beach, Taqa Castle, and the ancient ruins of Sumhuram. Walk the Frankincense Trail to learn about Salalah’s most famous export.

DAY 4

Salalah

Embark on a full-day safari through the Dhofar Mountains in 4x4 vehicles. Visit Wadi Darbat, the “Well of Birds,” and the scenic Jebel Samhan range. Enjoy a picnic lunch and photo stops before returning to Salalah.

DAY 5

Salalah / Muscat

Fly to Muscat and visit the National Museum of Oman in Old Muscat. See historical landmarks like the Sultan’s Palace and the Portuguese-built forts. Check in to the luxurious Chedi Muscat for dinner and overnight.

DAY 6

Muscat

Take a boat cruise to the Damaniyat Islands Nature Reserve for swimming, snorkeling, and exploring. Return to Muscat for a sunset cruise along the coastline. Enjoy an evening at leisure with dinner at the hotel.

DAY 7

Muscat / Wahiba Sands

Travel to Wahiba Sands and marvel at its vast red and white dunes. Witness breathtaking desert sunsets and stay overnight in a luxury tented camp.

DAY 8

Wahiba Sands / Jebel Akhdar

Visit Wadi Bani Khalid, known for its year-round water pools, before traveling to Jebel Akhdar. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon at Alila Jabel Akhdar, surrounded by terraced orchards and natural springs.

DAY 9

Jebel Akhdar

Join a hands-on cooking demonstration to prepare traditional Omani dishes. Hike through scenic villages lined with terraces of pomegranate trees and rose bushes. Meet local farmers to learn about their way of life.

DAY 10

Jebel Akhdar

Travel to Jebel Shams, Oman’s highest peak, for panoramic views of Wadi Nakhr, the “Grand Canyon of Arabia.” Walk the iconic balcony trail and visit the charming villages of Al Hamra and Misfah.

DAY 11

Jebel Akhdar / Muscat

Experience Nizwa’s lively Friday livestock auction and explore the famous Nizwa Fort. Visit Jabrin Castle and stop at the lush date plantations in Birkat Al Mauz before returning to Muscat.

DAY 12

Muscat

Tour the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, Royal Opera House, and the Natural History Museum. Enjoy a free afternoon before a festive farewell dinner.

DAY 13

Muscat / Homeward

Transfer to the airport for your journey home.
