Three moments you’ll never forget
day 1
Welcome
Arrive in Nairobi late evening and transfer to the Tamarind Tree for your overnight.
day 2
Loisaba Conservancy
Fly to Loisaba, a 57,000-acre wildlife conservancy. Check in to our tented camp, set on an escarpment above a busy waterhole, and embark on our first game drive.
day 3 & 4
Loisaba Conservancy
Enjoy two days of morning and afternoon game safaris. Search for giraffes, herds of elephants, and prides of lions. In addition, take a camel ride or explore by horseback.
day 5
Mara North
Fly to the 70,000-acre Mara North Conservancy for two more days of safari. Freshen up in your luxurious tent or watch wildlife from your private veranda before heading out on safari.
day 6 & 7
Mara North Conservancy
Our safaris here reveal healthy populations of zebra, wildebeest, lions, and leopards. Mara North has fewer visitors than other reserves, giving you access to the action without the crowds.
day 8
Ngorongoro
This morning, fly to Lake Manyara and drive to Entamanu Ngorongoro, the ultimate highland retreat. Time permitting, visit a traditional Maasai village this afternoon.
day 9
Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro is the world’s largest intact caldera and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa. Descend 2,000 feet into the crater for a game drive among lions, elephants, and rhinos.
day 10
Serengeti Ndutu
Take a half-day walk with a guide through acacia forests. Then drive to the Olduvai Gorge, where it all began. Continue to the Serengeti Plains where you’ll check in for three days and nights of some of the most authentic safari experience anywhere in Africa.
day 11 & 12
Serengeti Ndutu
Your visit to the Serengeti Plains has been timed during calving season, a time of exciting viewing. Enjoy daily game drives through the grasslands here, spotting gazelles, topi, impala, lions, cheetahs, and hippos.
day 13
Serengeti Ndutu / Kilimanjaro / Depart
After a final camp breakfast, board our group flight to Kilimanjaro.

The trip starts in Nairobi and ends at Kilimanjaro
“We’re going to visit some of the greatest concentrations of iconic wildlife anywhere on the African continent. We’ll get to see the massive wildebeest herds in a different setting from the traditional drama of river crossings, down in the southern extent of their range where a million wildebeest give birth every year and graze the lush grassy plains.”
