Three moments you’ll never forget

Feel the exceptionally rare excitement of spying a full-grown Bengal tiger in the wild.

Peer up at the night sky from your Star Bed at the luxurious Jamtara Wilderness Camp.

Learn how the connectiveness of local villages and national parks is helping preserve the tiger environment.

Day 1

Delhi, India

Arrive in Delhi and check in to the JW Marriott at Delhi Airport. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax and recharge after your long day of travel.

Day 2

Bandhavgarh National Park

After flying to Jabalpur, drive overland to remote Bandhavgarh National Park, one of the best places to view Indian wildlife and our home for three nights. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon 4x4 safari before dinner at the lodge.

Day 3 & 4

Bandhavgarh National Park

Enjoy two full days exploring this diverse park set among the Vindhya Hills. Search for wild boar, deer, leopard, and tiger. In the trees overhead, watch for Rhesus macaques and Hanuman langurs. Bird watching is also superb.

Day 5

Kanha National Park

After a morning safari and breakfast, travel across hilly terrain and through extensive sal forests, colorful towns, and small villages to Kanha National Park. Check in to the Kanha Jungle Lodge, your base for four nights.

Day 6, 7 & 8

Kanha National Park

Spend three full days viewing wildlife in Kanha’s forests and plains. Expect to encounter herds of barking deer and langur monkeys. With luck, you may also see Indian wild dog, sloth bear, or perhaps even the world’s only four-horned antelope.

Day 9

Pench National Park

After one last morning safari, set out on the drive toward Pench National Park, which partly inspired Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book. Check into the Jamtara Wilderness Camp, our luxury tented camp and home base for three nights.

Day 10 & 11

Pench National Park

Over two full days, enjoy wildlife drives twice daily through this wildlife photographer’s paradise. Spot gaur, chital, Indian wild dog, mongoose, jackal, jungle cat, and hyena, with a possibility of spotting the elusive tiger and leopard.

Day 12 & 13

Pench National Park / Delhi / Depart

After a final morning safari, transfer to Nagpur for your flight to Delhi. Enjoy dinner and overnight at the JW Marriott. Board your independent homeward flight either late evening on November 9 or on November 10.
